lights I was leaving somewhere and I had my Auto lights on and all lights were working on the dash...then I speed up and heard a noise the lights that light up the mph and rpms went out and when i swicthced them to non-auto they came on...sway99bird and I checked the fuses and they are all good.

So this is a GTO, or....???
All I can think of is:
You have a photocell sensor on the dash that detects light. If it was just dark enough, you may hear a clicking noise, then the dash lights dim (because the sensor thinks it's nighttime). When you turned your auto lights off, it deactivated the photocell.
