Glovebox Question.....

Glovebox Question..... I searched on here and found 1 thread applicable to my dilemma and found no answer.
I opened my glovebox door and saw that the light was hanging down and the plastic piece that holds the light was broken.
On further inspection the broken piece had epoxy on it from a previous half-assed repair. I'd love to meet the guy that sold me the car, he probably epoxied the crack in the bottom of the nose too!
My question is: I went to junkyards and all other F-bodies had this problem, is there a known fix?
I'll make a light holder out of metal and bolt it in there if I have to, but would rather have a factory piece even if it might break again. Thanks.
