Default airbag sencer
hi i unpluged my air bag sencer and now my airbag light stays on! it's plug back in but how do i reset the light!

thanx for your help.

My OTC nemesys says can diagnose the air bag in my
Z28 1998 and turn off the lamp maybe you could try with autozone scan tool

ok im sure about it now OTC Nemessys can turn off the lamp and diagnose a lot of parameters from airbag im just have to prove it

Well if everything is reconnected correctly, as stated above you need to track down a scantool that can scan and reset codes in the subsystems...IE ABS, air bag, security, etc.

My friend has a Snap-On unit that can do this...but it's a pretty expensive unit.

Dealership could probably do it.

disconnect the negative battery cable for 5-10 min and see what happens. i know ithis methods resets SES codes, but im not too sure about airbag lights

Dealership its absolute sure cuz i was working there they use OTC TechII so just go over there and ask about the cost but first try whit the battery
