buy maf cleaner from autozone and clean the maf. Just spray it on and do not touch the springs/wire inside. I've never heard of a lid causing any problems besides fitment issues. You have headers by chance? Your po300 might be due to bad coils.

the misfire is probably from bad or dirty maf sensor. p0300 means it could be all but it also could just be one cyl. but not missing enough for the computer to determine what cly it is. I think the po102 and the po300 are the same problem= maf

when I first installed my lt headers I got a code eventually from an exhaust leak. It was at the front of my headers where the a.i.r. stuff hooks up and it fouled my plugs and took out all 8 of my coils. I found and fixed the exhaust leak and replaced the parts and its fine now. po300 could be lots of things fuel/air related.
