t-top squeek from center ?

Default t-top squeek from center ?

Anyone else get this ? Getting a squeek right above the rear view mirror. T-tops can be in or out and it keeps squeeking. Anything i can do ?

someone on here mentioned a while back you could slightly bend the tabs the pins slide into for a more snug fit. You also might want to try silicone on your t-top seals. not armor all, straight silicone. Sub frame connectors are also supposed to help with this. Mine just started doing the same thing the other day, ill keep you posted as to my results.

i get the squeek when the tops are off too though

You might take out the t-tops and check the molding that goes between the two to make sure its secure. Also, check the cable that goes up the glass and under the headliner. (Maybe there is a rub?)

yea i might take out the headiner to see. Just want to see if anyone knew exactly what it is. In the first part of your post are you talking about the center bar ?

Yea. There is an "H" channel screwed in to the center bar across the roof, which secure's the loose end of the T-Tops. You might just make sure that is secure and not moving around on you.

no idea what it is. took the liner out, took off the center t-bar, and held the wire harness. Still makes slight creaks going over bounces and stuff
