I heard dex cool causes electrolysis thats why I turn people off from dex cool and give them the green coolant instead. I havent had a problem with over heating since I bought the car and yes it did orginally have dex cool in it then I had a friend flush it and put green in and so far everythings fine even in 90 degree weather with the ac on. So yeah you might wanna flush it and see what happens. Check the t stat etc etc.

the dexcool didn't eat the heads,
electrolysis is caused by stray current and if the heads were dissolved then that's one stray ******* current. No antifreeze will prevent against that,
don't incorrectly conclude dexcool simply ate the heads

If Dexcool was bad for cars, there would be massive lines for miles coming from every dealerships service driveways.

Whats the name of the shop where they said Dexcool "ate the heads"? I want to make sure I don't send anyone to those morons.

And GM would've gone broke from the massive recalls instead of from stupid business decisions.

I agree, stay away from that shop...they couldn't buy a clue.
