Stalling and rough accel

Stalling and rough accel I just bought a 1999 Formula and it stalls every now and then during acceleration from a stop or if a slow to a stop. Also, it seems like it runs somewhat rough. Could it be the IAC or EGR? Im kinda bummed seeing as Ive only owned it for 2 hours. Thanks

Do you have any warranty from the place you bought it from. If you got it at a dealership go back right now.
Otherwise...
Do you have a check engine light? When you turn the key on, motor off the check engine light should come on, then go off when you start the car.
If the light goes out after while the engine runs, check the normal tune up stuf. Change the fuel filter. Clean the MAF, IAC.

Sounds like bad 02 sensor(s) or about a dozen other things.
I'd get it scanned. At least tell the dealership you got the car at to scan it for free. See if the 02 sensors are switching properly.

It doesnt have a check engine light during any of this and it isnt anything electrical either I wouldnt think because it doesnt reset my odometer or radio presets. It started doing it on the way home. I bought it from a member on here and Im getting very upset with it. Thanks
Yeah.
Clean the MAF.
Make sure all the plug wires are snapped on to the coil boots and the plugs.
Spark plugs could be totally crap. If you just bought the car you have no idea.
Plug wire(s) could be broken.
Check fuel pressure.
Change the fuel filter.
But get a scan to see if the 02 sensors are working properly.

Cleaned MAF, IAC, and air cleaner (just for maintenance). Problem kept getting worse. Like a massive vaccuum leak. Then today I noticed the intake bolts arent more than finger tight, so I hope Im on to something.

Scanned it and got codes for TPS and MAP. Could a vacuum leak cause these? Sometimes the car will drive fair for awhile and other times it will be crap. It doesnt matter if it is in open or closed loop. Can someone please help me? The car accels and drives like garbage.
