Need help ok 99z28 cam and bolt ons stock heads. I broke a axle at the track ,car sat up for about 3 weeks. Ever since putting the rear end back together the car is way down on power and throttle response. but runs perfectly fine does not miss or skip. just kinda weak, seems like it went from 380whp to like 300whp feels like a stock ls1. And it is absolutly driving me mad. Took it to 2 shops and they drove it and looked at me like i was stupid.
It seems like it might have a little valve train noise under load at certain rpms but its hard to tell. I took of the valve covers and looked at everything seems ok. was thinking i might have a bad lifter but am not sure of the symptoms of this in these cars Any thoughts would be great..
BTW it has nothing to do with the rear end ,that i am sure of.
