Egr I have a 2000 trans am and it has the ls1 intake with the egr still in the intake and exhaust manifold. I took off the egr hose that goes in the intake and pluged it with a rubber freeze plug. The service engine light came on so i put the hose back in to the intake and the service engine light is still on should I be concerned or no please reply back or pm me plz.
or just disconnect your battery, tap the positive cable end against the positive battery terminal about 4 times getting a spark each time, then hook it back up. See if the SES light is off. That should reset the PCM. If not, keep it disonnected for 30 minutes.
