Default rear defroster & tint

I got my windows tinted a month ago. one morning it was foggy so i turned the defroster on and there were like 3 circles of no fog on the lines. i looked closely to those circles and it looked like the lines had burned the tint or something. there are only like 4 lines total that work. what the heck happened. also can i buy a rear windshield that has no defroster lines. thanks in advance.

Can't really help you. The only thing I can think of is maybe the tint caused the heating filaments (lines) to burn out. BTW why would you want a rear window with no defroster?

The tint shouldnt really mess up the defrost or vise-versa. I have never seen it happen. If you want a window with no defrost then just remove the lines your self. Use a razor to get it started then just peel it off.
