Question Instrument cluster freaking out during acceleration

I have a wierd problem, when I nail the throttle my inst. cluster freaks out. It's almost like you turned the car off and restarted it. All the lights come on and the gauges all zero out and then come back to where they are supposed to be. I think it is loosing power somewhere because the seatbelt light flashes like it does when you start the car. It doesn't change the way the car runs, it never misses a beat. Has anyone else run into this problem??? I have an MTI T1 cam so the motor shakes a little, I am wondering if I have a wire that has worn the insulation off. Any and all help is much appreciated!!!!

that's what I am leaning toward, I just wasn't sure if this was a common problem and if anyone had an idea where I could start looking. My brothers car was shutting down under acceleration and the ground on his computer was bad. I guess as long as it is still running it could be worse.
