Default P0430 Problem

So here is the back story. I have a 2002 Camaro SS and I installed a set of ARH LT headers about a month back. No problems with the instillation and I even had a mechanic review the work to make sure there were no exhaust leaks. About 2 weeks ago I was driving and decided to go WOT. Sounded good and ran fine but a few moments later the SES light came on and threw the P0430 code. I disconnected the battery and reset the code. The light will stay off as long as I do not floor it. So my question is what could be causing the code light to come on? I would hope that ARH would not send me a defective Catted Y but there is always that possibility. What other options could be causing this code and what steps should I take to diagnose the problem?
I appreciate any help offered.
