Driver's side window won't respond
 

I got a 02 LS-1, the driver's side window stopped working all the sudden today and only makes a quiet clicking noise under the dash when I was pushing the button. I didnt hear any noise from the motor or the regulator, do anyone know what might be wrong with it? Thanx!

Relay? Do a search for the passenger window fix, should give you an idea where the wires are. If not the wiring for that, then it very well may be the BCM behind the glove box, pretty sure that controls the windows as well.

I'd pull the door panel off and check for power and ground before throwing a relay at it, motor failure is a very common occurance on these do to the poor design of the electrical system for the power windows.

... your motor is dead. Time for a new one. (Or your window motor could have come unplugged or something like that - but I'd be prepared to replace the motor when you go diving in to the door.)

The clicking under the dash is your (most likely) good express down relay trying to do its job.

man...i took the panel off today, there's electric current running through the wires and the
switch works fine...ONLY thing is that its a pain in the ass to take the second metal layer off to find out if it's the motor or the regulator. Do u guys know how to find out which is broken? The Motor or the regulator?

If there's no movement, then its the motor.

If i was you brother, i'd take it to a shop and just have them do it. It will cost alot but you will keep your sanity. I tried changing my own window motor today and it ended in complete and total disaster, i currently have a mess of metal inside my door with the panel in the rear hatch, waiting to take it to the shop in the morning to let a certified mechanic do it. I started the job at 2 and by 5:30 i was ready to burn the car to the ground and collect insurance money...possibly one of the most frustrating things to do on an f-body, period.

+1 on the difficulty and frustration. However; after the 2nd and 3rd time you do it, it starts to get easy! The shbox instructions eliminate taking out the regulator which is by far more difficult than the motor-only swap.

just follow the shbox instructions, wasn't hard at all. You can figure the drilling locations by looking at the pictures and guesstimating the locations of the rivets. Took a little less than an hour and was simple as can be.
