Default throttle position sensor question

2001 camaro ss.

When installing a new throttle position sensor.....is it just bolt on? Or are any adjustments needed?

Thanks!

Was just bolton in my 99 formula. Should be the same for you. Two bolts (non adjustable) and one plug.

yeah that's what I thought, but just wanted to ask anyways because I've been having some downshifting issues and wanted to eliminate the TPS from being the issue....I will still get the TPS voltage checked when I can, but I bought it brand new ac delco from the local parts dealer so it should be fine.

Thanks!

I'd be interested to see if your downshifting issues go away with the TPS swap. It seems that the TPS can cause some wierd issues when it goes. On mine (M6) when I started getting the SES code about incorrect TPS voltage, my traction control would randomly turn off while I was driving and not let me turn it back on until a while later. Replaced the TPS and both issues went away, I'm wondering if somehow it didn't have a short internally.
