pass window: motor or wiring problem?

my passenger window doesnt always work. itll go up or down bout half way then stop. then ill keep driving for a bit and try again and itll go up or down a little more and so on until its closed/open.

ive heard this is because there are resistors built into the motor that cut power when the motor becomes overly taxed...?

my question: will replacing the window motor remedy the problem?

Yes, the motor is on its way out. A new one will fix that. The kit you posted will fix how slow the passenger window is from the factory, and it works very well.
