Default engine sputter at mid to high rpms

My engine is sputtering at high rpms

The car has a brand new engine, all plugs, wires and sensors are new.

Could I need a new fuel filter??? What else can cause high rpm sputter?? Fuel Filter has a little over 10k on it. I'm fixing to change it anyways but was wondering what else can cause this.

Thanks!

Have you inspected the plugs, wires and coils closely? I'm having a similar problem and I suspect ignition system. I assume no check engine light? Is your problem under heavy acceleration?

I am having this same issue. My car feels like im letting the gas off at 2800k and then it comes back strong. Im thinking the plug wires are going bad.

It could be a lot of things, but I had a similar problem once and it did turn out to be a fuel filter. Check all the basic stuff first, plugs, wires, air and fuel filters, etc.

The best thing would be if you have access to some tuning/logging software and you can see what exactly is happening.

If it's a brand new motor, I'd talk to whoever you got the motor from and see if they'll help you out with diagnosis.
