Exclamation having problems

some body please help me lol
i got a 2001 chevy camaro ss.i only drive my camaro twice a month ,
for the past 3 months i been noticing , when i turn of my car and want to turn it back on it wont start at all , the only noise i here is in the hood by the air mass sencer a small clicking noise ,
i get a service engine light and check gauges light on ?
my car only has 55,000 miles ,,

You need to go see what code made the SES light come on....then go from there.

Get a free scan at the auto parts store.

BUT...do not buy anything they tell you to buy to fix it....yet.

The clicking by the MAF is the idle motor trying to figure out what do with an engine that isn't running.

This is not preventing your car from starting, however.

So, it cranks and starts when cold, but will not restart when hot?

Check the SES and see what codes it's throwing. Most of the auto stores don't loan the OBDII readers anymore, but you can pick up a cheap one at Harbor Freight. If your close to LAX you can borrow mine. Let us know what codes it's throwing.
