Howdy,
Working on fixing the a/c system on a car (FD RX7 with LS1 swap). There is a small leak, that i tracked down to a snap ring on the bottom of the compressor at the back. What is this part?

Can i pull the snap ring and replace the seal?

Does anyone have any compressor diagrams or info?

11 years later....different dude....same problem. Hey OP you might be dead, or too disinterested in helping since u fixed this or pawned it off in the next car’s owner.....or you just gave up. In any case, MAN UP AND TELL ME WHAT YOU DID!
