Default Front Tow Point Ideas?

I've got a '94 Formula and want to install a tow point on the front. I was thinking it could be a 1/4" bar with a hold drilled in it. I have a BMR k-member so I'm not sure where the best place to connect to the front of the car would be. I don't think the k-member is necessarily strong enough for pulling the car without damaging it, and I'm also not sure the radiator support is up to the job either. Any thoughts?

The 1/4" bar will only get you or someone else killed. If you absolutely have to flat tow, then start talking to the folks that make tow bars.

What I was talking about was an SCCA type tow hook for removal from a road coarse. It's required by the SCCA for some cars and I thought I'd add one since the Firebird really doesn't have an easy hook up location. I wasn't talking about towing the car at speed. Sorry I didn't explain in detail.
