How do you replace lights in climate control panel?
All the lights are out on my recently replaced (used) climate control panel, and all the lights are out. How do you replace these? The bulbs don't seem to come out. Do you cut the wire and splice a new bulb/wire into it? Where to get these at? Dealer only or can I get them from Radio Shack?

The new bulbs are #74 bulbs (I think) and come from auto parts stores. They are very difficult to get out of the socket.
Try bending a 1" piece of duct tape over the bulb so you get a little pull tab. If that doesn't work, you may have to use needle nose pliers to carefully pull it out. (Many times, this causes the bulb to shatter - so watch out!)

If they are like the one that lights up the gear selection on the A4 cars, yea they blow up if you use pliers. I need to replace mine too, the fane speed has gotten real dim lately.
