I just bought a 2001 trans am with 77,000 miles. Both of the front blinker sockets were cut off. I bought new once and they worked for awhile, but the right side keeps blowing the bulbor getting hot and the bulb becomes clear. Anyone heard of this issue before?

 

have you checked your blinker fluid?

Check for cracks in your lens and/or water in your lens. Cold water on a hot bulb will destroy them like that.
