Wipper Blades!!
Ok, I can't for the life of me figure out how to replace my wiper blades, which are Rainx lattitude wiper blades. the little U hook's on my wipper arms that the blades attach to are facing up, when I've looked at videos on how to replace wiper blades there's are down... not to mention most of them have blades where you can put the hook through the blade and pull the blade back down to snap in... my wiper blade is solid. If anyone has installed rainx lattitude wipper blades on there trans, camaro,or firebird I'm all ears! or pics... doesn't matter to me. hope this makes sense..

lot of info on this link about changing wiper blades newb.
Maybe ask you dad or someone that has owned a car for a few years how to change them.
Anyone that can't change wiper blades shouldn't own a car.

Those blades are a complete PITA to get on. It took me about 20 minutes to figure out to do it AFTER the AZ guy gave up. Gave me $20 because they couldnt put them on.
Basically, you just have to figure it out. Its impossible to describe how they fit. Thats it.

I changed my wiper arms specifically to use these types of blades... If you have an LTx era car you can't use these blades. (93-96, not 97 i believe)
There is a small trick to getting them on there, though.

The OP says his wiper arm hooks face upwards; so does he have a 93-97? If that's the case you need to buy any wiper blade that says 24R on it, to indicate reverse hook blades. I guess GM wanted their reverse attaching wiper blades to coordinate with their reverse flow cooling LT1s...

RainX wipers are junk. No joke they WILL scratch your windshield.
For a 4th gen ONLY buy Bosch as it's the only one that is curved properly for the 4th gen windshield. Don't believe me? Put on the RainX or any other brand passenger wiper and check out how it sticks off the windshield by about 3 inches when in a resting position. The Bosch is glued to the windshield with no "off hang."

It took me about 20 mins to figure out how to put the RainX blades on too. It’s a lot easier said than done! I had to take the black clips out and use the different style ones that also came in the package. It didn’t seem as tight as it should have been but they have been on there for 3 months now with no problems.
