I'm working on my sister's 98 trans am ls1. She has an oil leak from the front of the engine, so it might be the front seal? However, I'm tearing into the car and I'm at the harmonic balancer. The bolt on the balancer, which way do I turn it to loosen it? Left for loose, like normal, or right for loose?

Left, but if its auto you need to lock the flywheel. A manual u can just put it in gear. Grab a long piece of pipe!
