Pontiac Headlight problems (not stripped gear)
I'm on my second headlight motor and it went out again. I replaced it only a month ago and now its dead. I'm wondering if its not the motor, but maybe something else.
When I replaced it the first time, I used my Helm's and did all the testlight checks and narrowed it down to a faulty motor. But you would think a motor would last longer than a month. I rarely drive at night so I don't even use my headlights much at all.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what it could be? I'm not under warranty and I don't want to buy another motor, they're not exactly cheap.
Thanks,
Brandon

Have you considered the non-pop up conversion. You can find pics on the site. If you keep going through motors it would be cheaper in the long run. Some people like them some dont im undecided but if mine kept screwing up I would put them in mine. I have a Z28 now but am really wanting to trade but that is a major hold back. I also wish I could get a Trans Am without all those options that will tear up like power windows and steering wheel controls for the radio. Good luck with those headlights.
