ok so i noticed a loud engine noise that kinda sounds like sucking or blowing but is not coming from the lid. i tried to find out were it was coming from and it sounded like it was closer to the intake manifold. What could this be?? is it normal?? nothing was on as far as the heat/ac goes.

check for a vacuum leak on the PCV hose it might be torn like mine was when i first got my Ws6 sounded like sucking or a hissing noise.
