What is this hose? (pic attached)

What is this hose? (pic attached) this metal shaped hose that has a dark liquid on it just underneath the alternator. is this the power steering hose?
this is another little leak i have, is this hard to replace? and does anyone have part numbers?
any help would be appreciated!

since the "p/s return" line is leaky towards the connection, i wanted to replace that too. the only problem is, all of the return lines are listed as a 3.8L camaro not a 5.7L. what to do what to do!?!?!

The hose tells you. In your picture, you'll see that the hose says "P/S Return"
You'll probably have a better time of it if you make sure you get an AC Delco part. Your leak doesn't look that bad - and it shouldn't be a real issue for you.
If it was my car, I'd wait until you changed out the pressure hoses and do all of them at the same time. BTW - The clamp on the hose is just as important as the hose. It will weaken over time and won't clamp down as tight. I don't remember if new clamps come with the hose, or not.
Another thing is that the pump often leaks fluid down on the hoses. So, you should probably see if the fluid looks like its coming from the hose connection to the rack, dripping down from the pump, or if the crimp connections on the hose are starting to go bad.
If the connection to the rack is leaking, you may just need a new O ring and if the pump is leaking, you'll probably see fluid caked on only one side of the hose.
