Default Some Random Questions!

Browsing some threads today I thought of some questions and didn't want to hijack anyone's thread.

1. What's the advantages of an oil breather cap??

2. How much is a good battery tender cost??

3. When I put my car away for the winter, should I change the oil before, after, or both? I always use synthetic. Is there anything else I should do when I let it sit?

Thanks guys!

Assuming that's all you put on, there isn't any particular advantage. All you're doing is changing the fresh air source for air coming into the crankcase.

They vary.

Change it before you fire it up again. If you use oil analysis, you may not even have to do that.

Use sta-bil also (sorry if I mis-spelled it) if you're storing it for several months like I did with my F-body (at least my recommendation). Better safe than sorry.
