Default Misfire
My car has a weird misfire. The #3 cylinder show 3 misfires every 2 minutes. What would cause this. Plugs are not that old.

I just found a bad pin connector in my PCM, it was causing 4 cylinders not to fire on my drivers side.

Weed out the coil(s) and fuel injectors first by swapping with a good one. Switch a spark plug wire with another one and definitely change/swap that spark plug to weed that out too. Possibly a leaky fuel injector, so you can always swap that one with another one.

Really, all that checking is free to do.

I'll switch everything on 1 and 3 and see if it shows up again. If it does I'll do it piece by piece.

Could also be your coil packs, and it could also be a piston ring if....you see oil when you take the spark plug out. Let us know what happen..

Will do, getting trans mount changed back to factory replacement from poly today.
