so whilst removing the old headgasket crap from my block, little bits and shavings went down the water jackets, oil passages, lifter holes. Obviously I've gotta get that crap out, what's a good way? (hopefully without pulling the engine out)
I was just gonna pressure wash it down the block (with the oil pan on, that way i don't have to remove it) let it dry for a couple days, then do an oil flush. Just looking for better ideas

wouldint compressed air only drive the shavings farther into the oily lining of the engine?
What if i used a hella low viscosity oil so the garbage could sink to the bottom then flush the oil out?

Usually if the stuff is light enough the compressed air will blow it out but if you start pouring oil and hope it drains out the only way to really know is tear the motor apart and have a machine shop clean it

If they are just gasket shaving use a wet vac and get em out. If its metal your a little screwed lol i k now i still had a few small gasket pieces i rpboably missed and the motor just burned them off however I made sure there was no metal oin the cylinder walls or passages.
