Hatch won't close!!
Try pulling the release tab to see if it pops the metal tab open. If not use a screwdriver to flip it to the open position, might need to have someone help and hold the release tab while you try to manually release the latch...sounds like it accidentally got closed with the hatch open.
I have this exact problem right now. I tried prying on the inside piece to get it up more, but when I try to close it, it just thuds and will NOT budge.
I tried using the key to open it that way and nothing happened with the latch at ALL. I followed the little bar forward when I unlocked it and it turns up front, but has no effect on the latch itself. I just took the whole thing off so that my hatch will "close" but I dont want it to stay this way
