Oil in A/C compressor?
So the question is, should I add more?
Do you fill it from the same place you add the free-on from?
How much oil do you need?
Personally, if I was installing a used AC compressor, I would drain all of the oil, inspect the condition, flush out the oil with new oil a few times, turning the compressor by hand, let it drain, and add the amount needed. IF the system was leaking oil before, add more.
I would put the oil right in the compresor itself.
Its always best to flush everything out, and add the correct amount of oil (I believe we use 6 or 8 oz total on the f-car, not sure? )

Huh. . . . ?
I would have put the oil straight in the compressor after draining out the old oil.
Good luck with a used compressor. . . . It may work. . . But, used compressors are side by side with used alternators.
