oil pump is this ok

i changed my pump but it seems the pick up tube is all the meshed with the pump here is this ok or do i have to try to mesh it together only one bolt hold this down

my bad its not all the way meshed its tighter on the side with the bolt

He means the pickup tube is not flush to the pump judging by the picture.
