key wont turn off please help!!

key wont turn off please help!!

my key is stuck in the on position and wont turn the car off. i wiggled the steering wheel the car is in park. ive played with it for like an hour

haha it was on for like an hour but i found if you turn the wheel theres a sweet spot where the car will turn off BUT the key still wont come out!!!!!!!

I think there is a switch in the console that allows the key to be removed when its in park...if this is not working then it may be impossible to get the key out. Research the PRNDL switch (think thats it) and see what you come up with
