Default vacuum leak ses light.

I just got the ses light scanned and it showed two codes related to the lacuum lines, and the EVAP (evaporative emission system). The codes are p0440 and p0507.
Could this be caused by a kink in the vacuum lines, and if not what could be the cause of this?

P.S. When i rebuilt my motor two of the lines got damaged and instead of paying 180 for new ones my friend made custom fabricated some for me. One of these lines that goes to the back of the motor and t's off to the side bends and looks very restricted. I think this could be part of the problem.
