Default POS windows...

Hey guys,

So last night on my cruise, pulled in to park in my complex, and drivers window wont go up. Well, technically it would, but it would move about 1cm at a time, then i'd let it sit 5-10 seconds, and it would move again. After i popped off the switch panel, and jiggled the wires, it shot up about 2 inches at a time. Do you guys think this is a motor or a switch problem? I don't wanna be stranded for 15 mins rolling my drivers window up in inch or less increments.

Thanks!

Mine did the same thing when the motor went out. it would go up a couple of inches, then stop. I would wait a few minutes and it would go up a couple of inches again. About a week later, I would have to wait about 10 minutes for it to move a couple of inches. I would guess its your motor.

It is an easy fix. Not nearly as hard as people make it out to be. Done it many times. It is the motor.

This is a classic failure of the thermal cutoff switch inside the motor unit. As above, ^^^ time for a new one.
