Power Steering Pump Loopback (Functional Delete) I've got a PS pump I'd like to delete. I converted to a manual steering rack, but I don't want to change/reroute the belt.
So I need a hose I can run from the pressure side of the pump right back to the res. Thus no damage to the pump, but it's there when I need it.
My reasoning is fairly simple, I want to keep the ps pump because someday I'm going to convert to hydroboost, and I'll want this pump available for that. Until then, I just need it "off the list."
I just need to know the fitting and hose sizes to accomplish this unless someone sees a major problem with doing this. Thanks.
