Cool Air condition

So I'm having a problem with the air conditioning and I'm not sure what to fix. It doesnt blow any air unless it's on max. And when it does blow the air on max, it's just hot air. Need some help figuring what the problem is so I can repair this before it gets too hot in MS and I drown in my sweat.

With the fan switch in the lower speeds, can you hear it running or is there nothing there?

As to it's being hot, you probably need to have the leaks fixed.

Nothing is running on the lower speeds. Know how to find the leaks?

If it's not running in the lower speeds, the resistor that controls the speed of the blower is probably bad. Don't know where it's located on your car.

To find the leaks, you gotta either put dye in the system or take it to someone with a leak detector (they're expensive). After the dye goes in, you look for where it's coming out and fix where ever you see it.

I Wasnt sure if there was some sort of dye you can use to find the leaks. As far as the resistor, I can check my Chilton's book for the location.

Yes, the dye comes in specially marked cans of refrigerant.
