LS1 running terrible Alright 98 trans am acts like it has a horrible miss. when driving its bounces and jerks like hell. in first gear just giving normal acceleration it sounds like it is bogging down and has no power but once you get to around 4 grand it takes off with full power. it constently back fires. i hooked it up to a computer it said it was the skip shift sensor but i dont know i cant figure it out. any ideas?

Any luck with the things you tried? My car is running not so good as well. I have similar problems causing it also... K&N filter fouling the maf, O2s going bad, and I think an exhaust leak also. Could the IAC be fouled also by the K&N?
