in park or on the brake wont do it on the ground.. free rev her in p wont do it.. only on ground an under load..
only thing thatz changes is motormounts. an she can now breath well since the drivers car was plugged an given me a code.. now.. she has no codes.. but does this.. an it sounds like from the drivers side. up front..
with this issue still ran a 13.50.. but ive been told this car should be in the 12.90 range stock..
ls1 ls6 intake cause its a 2002, automatic.. stock b4c cop car
If the car is bone stock with an automatic I don't think you'll run 12.9s. 13.5 is a good time for a bone stock car. With the weather perfect and a good set of drag radials my SS ran a best time of 13.3, stock.
You should be fine on 92 octane. If you think you're getting a ping, you may have carbon buildup from all the idleing cop cars do while on duty. If you think that's the issue: call a dodge dealership and track down some Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner (MCCC). You can see a step by step on how to use it, if you search for"Alternative: how to seafoam your car".
Also, the LS1 is notorious for piston slap. If this is your first LS1 it can freak you out at idle. It sounds like a clunk, rattle, or marbles inside the oil pan and typically is only heard at idle. Many people confus it for ping as well. It's normal(ish) and unless it's real severe there is nothing to do for it.
Exhaust manifold leaks can cause the upstream O2 sensor to read incorrectly, which in turn causes the fuel mixture to be off which can cause significant dammage to catalytic converters.
