Default Wet wire cause idle issues?

I checked my tail light last night and two were blown. Went to auto zone to get bulbs. I took off the back cover to get the bulbs out and the cover was filled with alot of water. (Im going to drill them out so it dosent happen again) Anyway, one of the bulbs was broken Im guessing from the water in there but the connections were obviously sitting in water for a while because the one that poped was corroded.
Im wondering if theres anyway I could have idle issues from a wet or corroded
taillight wire? Its just weird because it all happened at the same time.

Doubtful, I would look other places to fix the idle first. That would mean you have more wiring issues than just that tail light.
