starting issues

so i just bought a 02 z28 6speed. and for some reason it will not start sometimes. most of the time its after i drive it from work or when motor reaches normal opperating temp. but its also happened once when tryin to start it in the morning. i turn they key all the lights turn on but will not crank over. everything works fine.any 1 have any idea what it could be. let me know this prob is really annoying me lol

o yea after a few trys the car will start right up. sometimes it will take me a few minutes to get it started. but it starts after a few trys

dose the security light go off after about 5 secs?

Did you check all of your fuses? Or maybe there is something wrong with your key. The chip might not be operating right.

yea the security light goes off and the chip on the key is fine. ive tried both keys and samething no crank.

check the connections at the starter and clean them, had a bad connection at the starter that did this to me.

yea im going to check that today. ill let you know how that goes. hopefully thats the problem.

if the security light goes off it's not the pellet in the key.

ohhh ok . yea the light goes off. the car was doin fine the last couple day and now when i go move the car to take the garbage out the car doesnt want to start.
