AC Won't Turn On - Only 1 HVAC Code
I have a 2000 C5 coupe. I just had headers and a midpipe installed on the car and after that, my air conditioning was fine.
I brought it to a shop to have them adjust some clamps on a lift. After leaving, the air conditioning no longer goes on.
The actual air system will work, but when I push the A/C button, the light goes on for ~2 seconds (without blinking), and then goes off.
My only HVAC code is 'B0333 H C', which is an open outside air temp sensor open' code. My external air temp always reads 69*F, which has never been an issue before this. I had this code since I purchased the car and the AC worked fine the whole time.
All the shop did was turn two clamps and then ziptie a wire harness thats located near the collector on the headers. We don't think that wire harness had anything to do with the A/C, but I guess maybe it did.
Anyone ever have this happen? Maybe it's the battery for all I know lol.
