power steering pump???

power steering pump??? My SS has an issue when pulling into a driveway.
The setting:
coming down my street and slowing to turn right, into my driveway. As I am turning into the drive you can feel an added resistance in the steering wheel, almost like you had a flat tire or completely out of power steering fluid.
The car turns fine at speed and only has this issue at parking lot speed when turning into a spot or driveway.
I checked the fluid and topped it off but it wasn't very low at all. My car only has 30k but the fluid is original. I'm curious, have any of you had issues with pumps and/or racks?
