Default help

i have a 2000 pontiac firebird formula with 115k that wont run without me holding the throttle down when i first start it up after sitting for awhile but when it warms up it runs perfect. i had a ford f150 that done the same thing and i've had a few customers with the same problem and i replaced the idle air control motor on the vehicles. i was wondering if this could be the problem with it to. the amp gauge is reading 10 until i rev it up.

You can usually clean it and not have to replace it if it is acting up......
