Default broke a bolt, change the head??

well i just put in a LS1 from a 00 Z28 2 weeks ago and while pulling and installing the intake manifold for a third time to chase down electrical gremlins i broke the #10 bolt off into the head i feared the worst and i was right to do so, that thing isn't coming out unless i drill in the center of the bolt and do it that way. a buddy of mine has a set of 241 heads with a LS6 cam for $300 so i was thinking of picking those up off him and just changing out the heads and not dealing with the bolt in the first place. yes stock 243's would be great to throw on but unless i find some at the time when i'm gonna fix this the 241's will work fine.

could you weld an allen wrench or something similar to it and get it out that way? Drilling and "easy outs" would be another option
