Disappearing hose!

Disappearing hose! Hey guys, just picked up a 98' formula a couple weeks ago and the SES light just came on for the knock sensors. After reading around on here I felt confident enough to replace them this morning. I popped the hood and the first thing my little brother says is "what's suppose to go here"? I look at the driver side fuel rail and the end of it has no line to it! I thought maybe a hose fell off but there's no hoses laying around, so I looked up some pics on here and it looks like it goes back into the throttle body? I assume I need to replace this asap but I don't know what exactly its called and I couldn't find it online. I guess my question is can I pick it up at my local auto store and its name because the guy at O'reillys asked me what the knock sensors do! so he would be really confused if I asked him this, lol.
looks like im just missing the cap on the end. Guess I don't have anymore excuses to not install those knock sensors now
