Frustrated with not starting issue Help! I have a 98 Z28 and the car stopped starting after sitting for couple of months. It did have a bad rod knock and I was saving money to buy a long block. I have replaced the engine and still no start. The fuel pump is not priming when you turn the ignition on. I swapped the relays and no change. I jumped the connections on the fuel pump at the relay and it works so the pump and wiring from the fuse box is good but the computer is not turning the pump on. I was able to start the car with the jumper in place and it ran for a long time but then stumbled and stalled. It not showing a check light or any codes. I am at a loss at this point. Any ideas?
