interior electrical damage?

interior electrical damage? was gone for the weekend, left my drivers window down and it rained ALOT. doing an insurance claim but i went to start it today and the key turns over, the radio comes, the windows go up and down, all that but i went to start it and i know my battery is dead because it barely cranks over, but the speedo and tach both simultaneously go all the way to the right (like it does when you turn the key over in newer vettes) just curious if this is a sign of any electrical damage?
