changing doors. Door lock ? I want to switch doors on my express van.Side cargo door and rear doors. after I pull off all of the door panels will it be easy to switch the door locks? do I need to purchase a special tool. I have haynes manual but it doesn't give detailed info. Thanks, John
Theres a horseshoe shaped clip that holds the lock in the door. It can be removed with a screw driver or needle nose pliers. The linkage is held on with a plastic clip, to remove it push it off the rod, then pull the rod out of the hole. To reinstall it put the rod in the hole and rotate the clip until you can snap it back on the rod.
