Weird Charging issue

Weird Charging issue Last night I was driving like normal and my Voltmeter read in the middle of the red, (about 8 volts). Once in a while, it would jump back to 13 and eventually go back to the 8ish mark. My signals would just stay on instead of blinking, but other than that it drove fine. As I backed into my car port the gauge jumped back to 13 and stayed there. I did a full test on the battery and alternator this morning at Advance Auto and everything was perfect. I drove it about 35 miles today and it never did it again. Should I be worried or discount it as a fluke?

I put 2 brand-new belts on the day before it happened. That's why I got under there and looked around; I thought it was too much of a coincedence for it to be acting up like that. I'll double-check my battery, but it should be good. Thanks man.
Did you check the belt routing against the sticker on the driver's side strut mount? You can route the belt different ways in the engine bay, but if you don't have it exactly right, it will slip on you.
Also, did you check the gauge cast in to the belt tensioner when you put the new ones in?
